Okay, okay. I haven't been very good at blogging, but forgive me, I'm new at this. And the holidays were crazy busy.
In any case, I'm a little behind on somethings, including my stomach exercises, so I'm pretty much back to square one. I'll be starting up again on Monday, and hope to see great results over the next 18 weeks (i.e. tummy tuck no longer needed type results)
On the bright side, running is going really well, and I did 4 miles yesterday at around a 10:45 min/mile pace. It felt really, really good.
I hope that a new post will follow this one within a week...
How Mommy Got Her Groove Back

How do I get my groove back?
Not that this is earth shattering news, but having 2 kids that are 20 months apart is exhausting. My older son, G, is 2, and my younger son, C, is 5 months. I don't usually mind being tired, as they are sweet, adorable, little beings who provide me with endless hours of joy and laughter. What I do mind, however, is that I have become a bit lost in "mommy land", and need to find a way back to my old self. I work full time, so squeezing out those precious moments of "me" time isn't always easy. I am lucky to have a wonderfully supportive husband, Z, who fully is encouraging me to get my groove back.
I am starting this blog as a way to document my progress and write any random musings I may have along the way...
First up is fitness. I am currently on week 4 of the couch to 5K program and week 1 of a program to rehabilitate my diastasis recti. For extra encouragement I am posting weekly photos of my belly to hopefully document my progress.
Here I am at the start of week 1, weight 108 lbs. (only 2 lbs. above pre-pregnancy weight), waist size 31.25"
